Occupational Therapists

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat clients with difficulties in performing daily living skills and tasks and also clients with sensory integration concerns.
  • Help to develop
    • Fine motor skills
    • Activities of daily living (eating, dressing)
    • Integration of one’s senses to organize information and learn.

Evaluations

  • Initial and ongoing assessments for clients in the Early Intervention program and school-age.

Treatment

  • Therapists work with clients with
    • Birth injuries
    • Learning difficulties
    • Developmental delays and disabilities
    • Brain injuries
    • Physical limitations such as broken bones and visual impairments
    • Cognitive disabilities
  • Therapists also work with clients to address other concerns such as:
    • Oral-motor issues
    • Feeding concerns
    • Sensory integration deficits
    • Behavioral concerns
  • In-home and clinic-based individual therapy sessions are available for children ages birth to three, school-aged children, and adults.
