Nutritional Therapy

Licensed Dieticians or Nutritionists

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat clients with difficulties with dietary and nutritional development.
  • Help to promote
    • Adequate nutrition
    • Dietary needs and calorie count
    • Develop appropriate food choices
    • Proportional growth and weight

Evaluations

  • Initial and ongoing assessments for clients in the Early Intervention program and school-age.

Treatment

  • Therapists work with clients with
    • Developmental delays and disabilities
    • Brain injuries
    • Down Syndrome
    • Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Therapists also work with clients to address other concerns such as:
    • Weaning from non-oral feedings
    • Failure to Thrive
    • Picky eaters
  • In-home and clinic-based individual therapy sessions are available for children ages birth to three, school-aged children, and adults.
