Feeding & Swallowing Therapy

Feeding and swallowing therapies are available for children and adults. A trained and licensed speech-language pathologist provides therapy. Feeding therapy can also be provided by a licensed occupational therapist.

VitalStim

  • VitalStim Therapy is a new intervention for use in the treatment of dysphagia. It is a specialized form of neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES), specifically designed to treat dysphagia.
  • In-home and clinic-based individual therapy sessions are available for children ages birth to three, school-aged children, and adults.
