If so, consider enrolling your child in Social P.A.L.S., a social group conducted by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and Counselor with extensive background in developmental delays and social therapy. Social P.A.L.S. is designed for children with decreased social skills due to developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down Syndromes, and other emotional/language delays.
This 6-week Summer camp will focus on teaching social skills within the clinical setting to support real-life practice in the community. This session will incorporate speech-language, occupational and social-emotional therapy.
Social P.A.L.S. will provide the following for children of all ages:

Safe environment to learn, practice, and receive feedback on social skills.

Small group size - grouping by appropriate age/gender

A chance for social interactions and friendships

Practice social skills in the clinic preparing for real life setting/community

Support and feedback to both the students and caregivers by licensed professionals

Social skills taught with visuals, role-play, video modeling and discrete practice
