$3,000 Scholarships for High-Performing SLP and OT Masters StudentsProgressus Therapy awards several scholarships each year to deserving students Speech-Language Pathology and Occupational Therapy, as part of the School Therapy Career VisionTM Scholarships program. (Apply now.)
As the leading provider of school-based and early intervention services in the nation, Progressus Therapy offers these scholarships as a response to the critical shortage of clinicians working in the school setting.
“We are keenly aware of the impact of the shortage,” says Jean Blosser, Ed. D., CCC-SLP, Vice President of Therapy Programs and Quality. “Children are going without services and, in some locations, the quality of services is inevitably being compromised. Our scholarships are one way of facing these challenges.”
The scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate a strong interest in school therapy and plan to work in the school setting after they graduate. Scholarship monies go to educational expenses in the recipient’s final year prior to graduation, and funds are used for such items as tuition, books, clinical materials, and school living expenses. Students are not obligated to become employed by Progressus Therapy.
Scholarships are awarded in the Fall and the Spring.
