The National Black Association of Speech-Language and Hearing (NBASLH) and Progressus Therapy are proud to announce our second annual Supporting Career Growth Through Mentoring scholarship. The $3,000 award is funded by Progressus Therapy, the nationwide leader in school-based SLP, OT, and PT services.

The scholarship will be awarded to a graduate student whose primary career interest is in providing speech-language services to children in school or early intervention settings following graduation and who identifies the importance of strong mentoring relationships to prepare for leadership roles.

The award consists of a $3,000 honorarium to be used for educational/clinical expenses (e.g., books, clinical materials or equipment, tuition or other expenses related to their educational program).  To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled in an ASHA accredited Masters’ program in Communication Sciences and Disorders (Speech-Language Pathology).
