The power of what's possible

The journey toward leadership in therapy begins with Career Launchtm

Progressus Therapy is committed to providing our first year clinicians with the mentoring and support needed to launch an exciting professional career and discover the joys of providing services to children with disabilities. Progressus Therapy clinicians who are in their first year of professional practice following graduation are placed in our Career Launch Program.

Participants of the Career Launch Program are able to:

  • Access the Progressus Therapy support systems available to ensure career success
  • Implement evidence-based practices and varied models for service delivery
  • Solve problems and address challenges as they arise
  • Identify future career directions and opportunities

Progressus Therapy provides Mentors who are experienced and committed to guiding beginning clinicians, maintaining ongoing communication, and providing recommendations. For speech-language pathologists completing their Clinical Fellowship experience, the Mentoring SLP will hold ASHA certification and state licensure/certification. The Mentors will work with the first year clinicians to establish outcomes and performance levels to be achieved throughout the experience, including periodic assessments of performance and evaluation of progress. Your acquisition of clinical skills necessary for independent practice is important to us.

Our Career Launch Program exceeds the amount and quality of supervision that is required and/or recommended for first year clinicians by The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, The American Occupational Therapy Association, The American Physical Therapy Association, and state license and certification agencies.
