Just about this time of year, I begin to feel like I need some rejuvenation in my therapy sessions. One of the most fun ways to achieve this is through a toy shopping spree. On my spring vacation I did a scouting expedition with my mom, who is a speech-language pathologist in Northern California. We found some really fun toys to share!

Mozart Munchkin Magic Cube – This cube is great for cause and effect. It plays 8 different Mozart compositions, and each side represents a different instrument. On the orchestra side (shown), all the instruments combine into one composition.

Gator Golf – A fun miniature golf set that comes with a variety of clubs, drivers, putters, etc. When you hit the ball into the gator’s mouth successfully, it pops out the back of the gator and back in front for you to hit again.

Fisher Price 3-In-1 Smart Sports Plug ’N Play Game – If you have access to a television at any of your school sites, this can be a very engaging tool to use. It is like a poor man’s Wii game for preschoolers.

Smart Toss Bean Bag Tossing Game – This game board switches among 4 sides, so you can have kids throw bean bags to match colors, numbers, shapes, or your own made up matching game.
